The work that a business analyst performs usually with the end goal of producing some deliverable.

Business analysts can be expected to perform any number of activities to help their project or organization achieve its goals.

Some of the most common activities that business analysts are expected to perform include:

  • • Conduction stakeholder workshops to bring clarity to existin business operations, business challenges, and the nature of the solution required.
  • Analysing and documenting the customer requirements, and elaborating on the requirements into functional specificaitons.
  • • Validating solutions with customers to ensure the project team is building the right solution.
  • • Change management activities to help the business absorb the solution into their operations in a controlled manner.
